A small group of Sovereign Grace ministers, together with the wives of some, members of Bridgetown Baptist Church, and visitors from the area, met this last week for three days (Feb. 19-21, 2013) of prayer to implore the Lord our God that He might send a special visitation of the Holy Spirit upon His people to renew and restore His churches as well as awaken our country to its’ great need for Him. The prayer sessions began at noon and lasted through the afternoon. Some of those praying fasted for all or part of the time. Those not fasting were treated to a light dinner by Bridgetown Baptist Church. The evening services consisted of the singing of Psalms and preaching from the Word by Curtis Knapp, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Seneca, KS.

Both the prayer sessions as well as the preaching services were seemingly attended with blessing by the Spirit of God, Who saved our greatest blessings for the last day. The brethren were encouraged and challenged, leaving with a still deepening burden for Awakening and Revival in our time.

The 2014 meeting, The Lord willing, will be held Feb. 18-20. The speaker is yet to be determined.
