The 2015 Convocation of Prayer for Revival will be held, Lord willing, for 2015 on Feb. 17-19 at Bridgetown Baptist Church. The speaker will be Ron Staley, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Mechanicsville, VA. Services for each day of the meeting will begin at 12 noon. The afternoon will be spent in sessions of prayer, followed by a light dinner. Evening services will begin at 7 P.M. Please come and join us if you can. If you cannot join us, please pray for us and with us wherever you are.

Update: Due to the weather conditions, we have altered our schedule. the Convocation will begin on Wed. Feb 18 at 10:30. There will be an opening message by Pastor Ron Staley, a short break, and then prayer sessions through the afternoon. We will possibly follow the same schedule on Thursday. It is heartbreaking to shorten such a precious time but our God knows All and is in complete control.
Recap: Convocation 2015 ended on Thursday with the evening meal. We heard two wonderful messages by Pastor Ron Staley and spent two afternoons in prayer before our Lord. We perceived the blessings of our Lord as we contemplated issues ranging from ‘Praying For Our Enemies’ to ‘Missions.’ We dismissed early to hopefully allow our attenders to head home before winter weather moved into the Mid-South area.
We are grateful to those who persevered to be with us. Their presence at our meeting was an encouragement and a blessing. And, many thanks to the membership of Bridgetown Baptist Church who also braved the elements to provide for our guests and make them welcome. My personal ‘Thank You’ goes to my dear wife Greta who, along with our sister Dwala McKnatt, organized and supervised the provisions for our dear friends who came to pray with us.
We had, of course, hoped for more to be able to attend and were saddened that several were unable. On the other hand, our hearts were made glad by the opportunity to fellowship and pray with God’s people. May the Lord advance the cause as we seek an Awakening In Our Time.
